Blueberry Soul is a growing Irish jewellery brand creating handmade jewellery inspired by Ireland. We currently supply an expanding network of independent retailers throughout Ireland and beyond, with exciting opportunities for further growth.
We are looking for a Part-Time Jewellery Production & Studio Assistant to join our existing team and play an important role in the day-to-day production and fulfilment of the business.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing brand at an important stage of its development.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, fast-paced production role within our jewellery studio.
We are producing a substantial volume of jewellery each week, so the successful candidate will need to be focused, efficient and highly attentive to detail, while being able to maintain a consistently high standard of workmanship.
The role will involve making and assembling jewellery, preparing stock, fulfilling retailer orders and helping to keep the studio and production process organised and running efficiently.
We are looking for someone who enjoys keeping busy, takes pride in their work and is motivated by getting through a productive day’s work.
Key Responsibilities
- Hand-making and assembling jewellery to a consistently high standard
- Working efficiently through production batches
- Maintaining excellent attention to detail and quality control
- Preparing jewellery for wholesale and direct orders
- Picking, checking and packing retailer orders accurately
- Preparing gift boxes, backing cards, polishing cloths and other packaging
- Barcoding and preparing products for dispatch
- Monitoring stock levels and ensuring materials and components are kept well stocked
- Assisting with regular stock counts
- Preparing new and existing jewellery styles for production
- Preparing pieces for gifting, wholesale opportunities, exhibitions and retail displays
- Keeping the production area clean, organised and well stocked
- Helping to ensure weekly production targets and retailer deadlines are met
- Working closely with the existing team to keep the overall production process running smoothly
- Taking on a variety of practical tasks as the business continues to grow
The Person We’re Looking For

- Able to follow processes and instructions carefully
- Comfortable working to deadlines and production targets
Previous experience in jewellery making, crafts, production, manufacturing, assembly or another hands-on environment would be an advantage.
Training will be provided on Blueberry Soul’s jewellery-making techniques and production processes.
The Working Environment
Blueberry Soul is a small but rapidly growing business, and this is a busy working production environment.
The successful candidate will need to be comfortable working at pace, staying focused throughout the day and managing a varied workload.
While we have a friendly and enjoyable studio environment, this is a production-focused role and we are looking for someone who is motivated, hardworking and takes pride in getting the job done.
You will be joining an existing team and will have the opportunity to learn our processes and become an important part of the continued growth of Blueberry Soul.
Hours & Location
Part-time: 2–3 days per week
Location: Ballon, Co. Carlow.
Due to our rural location, own transport is essential.
