Blueberry Soul – Part-Time Studio Assistant

Immediate Start | Rural Studio | Monday & Tuesday | 10am–3pm

Blueberry Soul is a growing handmade jewellery brand seeking a highly reliable, detail-focused Studio Assistant to join immediately.

This is a hands-on production role in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. Precision and care are essential.

This role requires accuracy, patience and consistency. It will not suit someone who rushes or works carelessly.

Detailed Responsibilities

1. Jewellery Finishing

You will:

  • Remove any sharp edges from resin pieces
  • Ensure all surfaces are smooth and professionally finished
  • Work carefully to avoid damaging resin or compromising metals
  • Maintain the integrity of hypoallergenic metals

This stage requires strong eyesight, precision and a steady hand.

2. Attaching Jewellery Findings

You will:

  • Attach clasps, hooks, chains and other finishings
  • Ensure metals are not scratched, bent or weakened
  • Maintain alignment and structural integrity

Accuracy is critical. Poor finishing is not acceptable.

3. Mounting & Presentation

You will:

  • Mount jewellery onto the correct branded backing card
  • Ensure alignment is centred and professional
  • Maintain consistent presentation standards

4. Photography Workflow

  • Process finished pieces to the photography station
  • Collect photographed items
  • Ensure stock accuracy before packaging

5. Packaging & Dispatch

You will:

  • Package items safely and securely
  • Prepare wholesale orders for retailers
  • Ensure all required materials are included in dispatch boxes
  • Maintain high presentation standards for retail delivery

Trial Period

A 2-week paid trial period will apply.
