Jewellery Care Guide
Everyday care
To help keep your jewellery looking its best:
- LOFO – Last On, First Off: Put your jewellery on after getting dressed and remove it before changing.
- Avoid direct contact with perfumes, moisturisers, fake tan, hairspray and other cosmetic products.
- Allow creams, perfume and other products to dry fully before putting on your jewellery.
- Avoid wearing your jewellery while swimming, showering, bathing or exercising heavily.
- Do not immerse your jewellery in water.
- Avoid exposing jewellery to excessive heat or prolonged direct sunlight.
- Handle your jewellery gently and avoid dropping, bending or pulling it.
Storing your jewellery
When you are not wearing your jewellery, store it carefully:
- Store pieces flat where possible.
- Keep jewellery in an airtight container, jewellery box or dedicated drawer.
- Our packaging materials are selected with the aim of helping preserve the jewellery and its components.
Keeping pieces separate can also help prevent scratches, tangling and unnecessary contact between different materials.
Caring for resin jewellery
Resin jewellery may collect fingerprints, dust or surface marks through normal wear and handling.
If your resin piece appears cloudy, use the polishing cloth supplied with your order to gently remove fingerprints and surface dirt.
Polishing cloths have been available with Blueberry Soul orders.
Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals or rough materials, as these may damage the finish.
Caring for metal components
To help preserve metal components:
- Avoid prolonged contact with moisture, perfumes and cosmetics.
- Remove jewellery before showering, swimming or using cleaning products.
- Store pieces in a dry place when not in use.
- Avoid rubbing or polishing plated components aggressively.
The appearance and longevity of jewellery can vary depending on wear, storage, handling and exposure to cosmetics or environmental conditions.
Natural materials
Natural stones and other organic or natural materials may vary in colour, pattern, shape and appearance. These variations are part of their individual character and are not necessarily defects.
Handle pieces carefully and avoid impacts, excessive pressure or sudden temperature changes.
